WEATHER GUIDELINES:

We live in Florida, so we are all aware of the weather changing quickly and frequently year round. We have multiple rules in place when it comes to weather, to ensure safety for all.

  1. Both the President and Vice President have lightning radars/alarms set on their phones at all times. If lightning is within 10 miles of our fields an alert will sound. Someone will immediately announce over the sound system for ALL players/coaches/fans to retreat to the covered building. Noone will be permitted back on the fields until given the all clear. Rules state there must be NO lightning strikes within 10 miles within 30 minutes before an all clear is given.
  2. Because of the unpredictable weather, practices or games will not be called until 5:30pm day of. (Unless the County shuts the Parks down ahead of large storms) Please check your TeamPass app and/or Facebook, Instagram for cancellations due to weather. We understand this isn't ideal so close to time, BUT always expect to play, just know the chance of cancellations are there. We can't always get it right, weather; but we will always try our best!
  3. If it starts raining during a game, unless it is a downpour with lightning, we will try to play. What kid doesn't like to playin the rain?
