It’s the most wonderful time of the year! We’re excited to announce that Whiteville Dixie Youth Baseball registration is officially OPEN! Thank you for choosing Wolfpack Optimist Sports and Whiteville Dixie Youth Baseball!!
Deadline to register: February 22nd 2025
We also need a copy of your child’s birth certificate. You can upload it during registration using the link.

SHOWCASE: All players must attend a showcase. This is not designed to deny any child the privilege of playing---only to assist the coaches in drafting players and making teams as equitable as possible. Teams are redrafted each year in each division.

Showcase: Friday, February 28th AND Saturday, March 1st at the Whiteville Parks and Recreation Baseball Fields located at 155 Rec Center Drive in Whiteville, NC.

League Age 6.5 to 8 ****Friday February 28th****
6:00 p.m. 8 year old AA Players Field 1
7:00 p.m. 7 year old AA Players Field 1
7:00 p.m. 6.5 year old AA Players Field 1

League Age 11 & 12 ****Saturday, March 1st****
12:00 p.m. 11 year old Major League Players Field 1
1:00 p.m. 12 year old Major League Players Field 1

League Age 9 & 10 ****Saturday, March 1st****
2:00 p.m.. 9 year old AAA Players Field 1
3:00 p.m. 10 year old AAA Players Field 1

Please arrive 15 minutes early.
Bring your baseball glove, hat, and wear comfortable shoes or rubber cleats. Be prepared to field, throw, hit the ball, and run the bases. It would be helpful to assist your child in practicing these skills prior to the showcase. Following the showcase, coaches will meet with the Commission to conduct the drafts for each division. In the event of rain, please bring tennis shoes. Players may be moved inside due to rain and baseball cleats are not allowed inside the gym.

League Ages:
Coach Pitch (AA) 6.5-8 year old
Minor League (AAA) 9-10 year old
Major league 11-12 year old
*Cannot turn 13 before May 1st
