WPO Softball- Spring 2025 - Player Registration

2025 Spring Season Information

• Our games will be split between our fields at Long Leaf Park and Supper Optimist in Ogden.

• 2 games per week with an occasional additional make up game.

• Games can/will be held on weeknights (monday through Friday) with a starting time anywhere between 6 and 7:45 depending on age and division.

• Practice times/days will be at the coaches discretion and can will be at either Winter Park Optimist or Hoggard

• Typically 2 practices per week before the season starts, and one weekend practice once the games start.

• No coach/friend requests in the Spring Season. A draft will occur after tryouts. Tryout date is 2/1/2025.

PLAYER REGISTRATION:

• Birth certificates may be checked

• Division select box is based on your player's Date Of Birth. If a specific division is not available, please ensure your Date Of Birth is entered correctly. 

• Absolutely no playing down in this league.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:

• Glove

• Rubber Cleats (NO METAL). Football, Soccer, or tennis shoes are also acceptable.

• All bats must be unaltered USA bats and contain the USA logo

• Softball fielding mask

• Batting helmet with face guard
