District 8 2024Tournament dates and locations. 

Host 

District tournaments date abd location TBD all divisions 

Coaches Credentials Meeting (Mandatory) - Date TBD. location tbd. Book checks will begin immediately upon arrival. This is a time consuming process to insure accuracy. All team managers must attend and coaching staff is highly recommended. I would also recommend a League representative to be present so there is no miscommunication as to what is expected during the tournaments. Schedules will be completed at this meeting as well.

 

 

 District Tournament Host minimum requirements are as follows:    

*Provide Championship and Runner up team trophy. 

*Provide Individual trophies for Champion and Metals for Runner -up teams.   

 *Host fee of $100 per team participating.  ( AA teams) 

 *Gate fee $7  

 *$1 of the first days gate fee will be donated to the dyb scholarship fund from district 8.

 *Teams participating in the district tournament will be required to present a flag reprisenting their team/league   to the host to be displayed at the tournament until elimination from tournament play.(flag dimensions to be 4'x6'and include the DYB emblem 18"x18". The layout must be approved by the State Director. Flags can be used year to year and for other divisions of play if desired.)       

*Tournament Umpires must have a current FDYB certification and will be paid $35
