IN CASE OF A WEATHER EMERGENCY:

We have a state of the art Thor Guard Lightning protection system at the Ball Park Road facilities to protect our children and parents.  Please continue to follow protocol when the system activates.  THOR GUARD, the leader in lightning prediction, is committed to utilize emerging technologies in the development of systems that provide automatic notification of hazardous weather conditions.

Protocol:
This system can provide advance warning of a lightning hazard, allowing you the time to seek shelter.
You will be alerted by one loud horn blast that will last 15 seconds. Upon hearing the horns, everyone should seek shelter immediately.
When this occurs, a strobe light located with the horns will activate and remain active while under a weather alert.
Every attempt should be made to seek shelter in a safe environment.
The Thorguard system will determine when conditions are safe to return to your previous activities Three 5-second blasts will indicate that everything is all clear and the strobe light will cease operation. Horns and strobe light are located on the roof of the of the concession & press box located on the main hub of the complex where fields 8,9,10,and 11 are.
