EPASL OVER-40 DIVISION    GENERAL INFORMATION FOR REFEREES   revised 9/2022

 One man system - $90

This is supposed to be a recreational league.

No slide tackles are allowed.

Each team has a designated person with an armband and only he is the one who is supposed to talk with the referee.

Each team is expected to supply you with a roster that includes current date and jersey numbers.

You have the right to have this completed by the team before starting the game. The captain will keep the roster but must relinquish it to you if asked. If there is an injury or ejection we ask that you return the roster to us. . ANYONE TYPED ON THE ROSTER IS OFFICIAL AND LEGAL. NO NAMES MAY BE WRITTEN IN BY THE COACH THAT DAY.

Each player is supposed to have a pass. You may just look at the passes or keep them during the game if you wish. Return a pass to us with your report  if there is a red card.

Playoff Information:

According to the By-Laws of EPASL:

All Playoff games that end in a tie will be followed by 2 -  10 minute overtimes, sudden death determinations.

If game is still tied, 5 penalty kicks for each team. If still tied, 1 against 1.
